Falling In Place
Everything is on track right now and it's awesome! Great night in the studio, including a VIP call! It was unplanned and timely and it was the booster shot I so needed to pop me back into position to attack the new song I'm recording! It's also a reminder that I have people working very hard for me behind the scenes and I just need to keep doing what I do and the rest will fall into place! Tons of admin stuff I'm killin' when I'm not singing and everyone in this business knows it really is a ton! haha Seriously...I hope the start of your weekend ROCKS OUT! Peace. xoxo

I'm getting that fragmented feeling coming over me because everyone just wants a piece of me...haha (not literally)! When I can't give each person (or animal) more then 5 minutes of my attention, I feel bad. And usually they want more then that! I'm trying to please everyone but one by one I have to remove the stress or else there will be no pieces of me at all. I'm working my craft and that's the best thing I have going for me! I do however rely on many people to keep me afloat and I thank them for all they do! Life just gets more challenging...not any easier and I am learning how to go with the flow and stay happy! I hope, like me, that you have a wonderful supportive band of peeps encouraging you and who will be there for you even when you can't be there for them all the time! Be sweet! xoxo

S-t-r-e-t-c-h It Out
I'm working on my music sites today and writing fans! I am sipping on green tea but thinking of switching to bouillon cuz I'm hungry! haha My back is bothering me a bit so I really need to get off my butt and stretch! The cat is like stuck to me and he hates it when I move or leave. haha I always enjoyed the cartoon Garfield but now that I have a cat, I REALLY "get" it! Step In Time
In keeping with my thoughts from yesterday about my time slipping away…I decided that time is illusive anyways and I can’t do my music by the clock. What may take you one hour, may take me 3 hours, but who's counting? I’ve always known that timed tests were never for me. Of course we all have time constraints and appointments to keep but I'm talking about true purpose. Artists and creative people, (people that write books come to mind), we all have to have alone time with no distractions to give it our best. I do spend a great amount of time alone but I’m ok with it. The next best thing is working together with another creative mind and I could live on an island with them and be quite happy. Then time definitely won’t matter. Alas…the clock tells me I’m late with getting my journal in. hahahaha Have a timeless day everyone! xoxo

My Day
I couldn't be happier! or could I? hehe yeah sure I can, but knowing I have the love of my family (including my cat) and the love and support of my friends and fans, then I am a very lucky and rich girl! I had the best time with my brothers this weekend. For the first time I played the Wii and it was soo fun! I kicked butt in boxing! The only way I could ever beat my brothers up! haha So today I'm thinking of watching Hairspray and chillin! I desperately need my routine back cuz it keeps me on track! Saturday
Last night after a quick visit to see my relatives I headed to the studio for a long night of work. A long night of FUN work that is! haha Today I've been really busy too, but I finally got to sit down to an amazing dinner my big brother cooked up special for me. He loves to cook and it's all fresh and fancy like Chef Ramsey would do! I spied my birthday cake so I have a feeling something is up for me possibly tonight and/or tomorrow! Stuffed
After yesterday's dinner I'm now feeling stuffed like a turkey on Thanksgiving! haha Eventually I will get back on my diet...like maybe next week! Holidays suck for dieting though. I'm not one to take advantage of black friday shopping cuz I'd rather sleep in and I did just that! It's almost that time to put on the Christmas music and get into that mode. All In A Day's Work
I had a live taped interview this morning at WSKG for a piece that is being put together with my live performance I did back in September at The Cyber Cafe. This won't be shown on TV until January or February of 2008. This is one of those things that is hurry up to do it and then you wait. haha It was wicked cool and everyone there was awesome! I am back in the house now and have promised some time to helping my mom prepare for Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow! Family Feeling
I'm starting to get that warm family feeling coming over me that the holidays bring. I'm excited my older brother will be home for a few days and other relatives will be coming in from out of state! My birthday is getting closer and that means presents! haha Right now I'm 100% focused on my music and I'm actually in a creative mood today! I've been helping design some banners with my mom...well I give her my ideas and she runs with them. haha Also working on my vocals, combined with replying to fanmail, posting on myspace, etc! What State Are You Living In?
I’m in a happy state…………of mind! haha I’m feeling so much better than I have been lately. I’m happy I have my own $$$ to spend and Christmas gifts this year! I’ve actually been shopping online a lot! I finally was able to track vocals last night! Also tracked strings and keyboards! Sounds awesome of course! hehe No complaints, no negative thoughts, just love in my heart and satisfaction! Running on Red Bull
I'm running on very little sleep today so I'm thinkin a nap would be nice. I'm also thinking of these three words, RED BULL PLEASE!!! haha After working my other job, I went into the studio late last nite, which then put me home very late. It's all good cuz so much was accomplished! I worked at my other JOB again this morning and I'm going back into the studio tonight again to work on something special...something I may surprise you with! hehe Anyways, I have a couple errands to run first, then my music to work on and maybe a quick nap with dreams to dream, so I will catch you tomorrow! xoxo

Stamp Of Approval
First snow fall of the season! It’s not sticking though. So pretty to see the white snowflakes blowing around! I truly can’t wait to get back in the studio and start tracking again. A week is just too long for my sanity and I don’t like losing momentum once I start. I don’t know if anyone can appreciate the great feeling it is bringing a song to life except my producer and me! It doesn’t matter if you understand it I guess, but it is important however that you end up loving the songs as much as we do! There is no way my producer will put his stamp on anything half ass and I’m learning from the best! It’s all about the creative expression and the need to do it! I am a better person because of my music! I hope you find what makes you a better person! xoxo

I don’t put a lot of time in because it’s not my focus or priority but it’s definitely necessary to be in the work force and establish credit! It’s cool to have spending money but I wouldn’t be able to depend on it for paying bills! My music career is ALWAYS first though! This morning I have been at the piano for a lil more then an hour. Singing next after this break here. I will be working later tonight at the JOB. I hope you are happy with your life choices. I am! The Dentist
Look Ma!...no cavities!! haha I had a cleaning this morning and got a good report! However I do need to have my wisdom teeth removed at some point! They have been bothering me and they are poking through! I just have to figure out when I can take the time for the surgery cuz I definitely can’t sing/perform for about a week! My camp is setting up a cool event/concert to happen in February of 2008 here locally and it will be a ton of fun! I’ll get you more details later once we have an exact date! I checked in with old friends yesterday and I really hope they know how much I appreciate them. I actually get very little time to hang with friends overall because of my situation/work schedule and of course they have busy lives too. I do what I can to balance it. Nice Day
Getting a lot done with the new song. All the lyrics are done and harmonies finished and we'll be ready to start tracking next time I go into the studio! Today is a free day and I'm off to a great start because I got to sleep late and I had pancakes for brunch! haha I'm about to clean up around here and then maybe head out for some Christmas shopping. I'm armed with my own money this year! haha It’s a beautiful fall day and leaves are spread all over the ground! I just love the crunching sound of leaves under my feet! Power Packed
It’s such a great feeling to be back in the studio recording a new song! My singing voice isn’t even fully back 100% yet so it’s more right now about the music and rewriting the lyrics. This new song will then be added to the new power packed revised version of "Mirror" that will be condensed down to 12 songs and promoted in Europe. It will include the dance remix of "Taken" also and I can’t wait to hear it!! Thanks to Reid Whitelaw at Brookside Music Corp., it’s a well thought out concept and along with my producer, they are the wind beneath my wings! I have lots of work to do today and its back in the studio tonight! I feel rejuvenated like someone gave me a shot in the arm and said go get em tiger! Getting Work Done Just Got More Fun
....so says my new Acer laptop! haha I just got my first laptop computer today! It's an early birthday present from my parents! My brother already has one and he is about to help me set it all up and show me how to use it! (this could take awhile) haha The computer I've had forever is old and outdated and runs sooooo freakin' slow, so I'm wicked happy to be up to speed! Don't Pass It On
I'm about to record a new song and I'm pretty pumped about it!!! It's just one of many that I wrote with my producer and has been stored away waiting to be brought to life! The scratch track is rough of course and needs a lot of tweaking and I am eager to get started! Yesterday my voice lesson was cancelled (this time because my teacher was sick instead of me) and I've missed out on 3 weeks of training! This flu/virus that has been going around is really knocking everyone out of commission for long stretches of time so I hope she is feeling better by next week! Not to mention one of my good friends is on the sick train too! We definitely don't need to keep passing it around so I'm going to be extra careful! Stay strong and healthy everyone! Stinkin Thinkin
Negative and unenthusiastic people really test my patience. Even when I'm blue or sick and I can't bring my best to the table, I always see the glass as half full and I decidedly chose laughter over the 'whoa is me' attitude! Something New
The coolest & most exciting thing happening for me at the moment is that The Orchard is distributing some of my music and now you will be able to download it on eMusic and iTunes!!! It all happens in stages and right now only 2 of my songs are available for download but it will grow!!! Also just wanna mention that in my merch section you will see the stores where my CD is being sold locally in the 607. I'm all about having the artists CD in my hand so I can read the booklet/lyrics and hopefully there are pictures! My CD "Mirror" has it all! Besides....the disc itself is butterfly beautiful! No doubt though, digital downloads get you hooked up instantly so basically I've got it covered! hehe Been a busy day and I'm feeling fine! Sunday Afternoon
I've been listening to the newly released albums of Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears! Have to say...I love all the songs off BSB's album "Unbreakable"! I have caught them performing live on a few shows that they have been on promoting their music and live just isn't tight and well....Kevin is missed. I'm sure with their years of experience they will be back in the zone fast! I'll always love them!!! We gained an hour last night with daylight saving's time and that's always cool. I've decided being sick is not gonna stop me from doing what I want! (within reason) I look so cute with these nasal strips across my nose too! hahaha but hey they do help me to breathe! Busy is Better
ok people I need more laughter...I'm still sick! Send me your funniest stuff! haha I knew watching such a serious movie like Premonition was the wrong choice last night but I love Sandra Bullock! My brother and I joined Net Flix and split the cost since during the winter months we watch more TV/Movies! Last year at this time I was rockin' in the studio night after night working on "Mirror" and I must admit...as busy and hectic as that was...I'd rather be doing that! I'm so not into wasting time or passing time for that matter! Busy is better any day! Being sick doesn't count in this case but you know what I mean! Dreaming of a better place today for sure! I have a serious sinus infection according to the doctor so I'm on medication for it now! I don't know how you can avoid getting this but I would do everything I could never to get this crap again! My camp has been rallying around me doing everything but singing for me while I am trying to get well. My attitude is great and if laughter really is the best medicine then I should get well fast, thanks to my friends (that keep in touch)! Next to Love and Music...my favorite combo is Love and Laughter! hehe Keep the silliness alive people! xoxo

Hello November
Sweet, sweet November! I’m sicker than a dog right now and I’m about to head out to the walk-in to hopefully get something to knock the sh*t outta my sinuses! Is it too much to ask to just breathe and get some uninterrupted sleep? haha
I have some exciting news to tell you and this just turned my day around 360 degrees. My label just informed me that the CD Pool service in England (U.K.) has included my newly remastered single "Taken" along with "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" in their November "Radio" CD servicing, which goes out to 700 stations (probably throughout Europe)! This is so exciting and I’m thrilled that my songs are up on The Orchard, eMusic and Itunes! As each piece of new news comes to light I will share it with all of you here! So keep checking back!
